JIB ACADEMY BY SALOMON QUALIFICATION IN ADELBODEN * 09.02.2009
On the 08th of February there was the qualification of Jib Academy in Adelboden, it's a slope style contest at which I'm always glade to participate. This time the level was very high.

The Jib Academy is one of the coolest contests! I drove off towards Adelboden with my mom (Curdin came on Sunday) on Saturday; the travelling was sooooo
boring and long! We could sleep at Till Mattis home, the guy who won the travel to Mammoth (USA) last year. This time I took my old ski, because Curdin convinced me that the other one is probably too heavy for me even if it is nicer. That one I would still use in the half-pipe.
In the morning the weather was already bad, but I hoped the sun would work it to shine through the clouds and fog. Unfortunately it didn't happen; the sight was so bad that I didn't dare to show all my tricks. The best riders did flat spins even if you couldn't see the kicker from the start. It was totally gross! You skied blindly, the only lead was the flag near the kicker, and you could see the kicker itself just 1-2 meters before you got on it. There were 2 kickers, then a wave-box, a flat-box and at last a smaller kicker. I gave my best especially on the boxes but it wasn't enough to get in the best 4 finalists, who were really very good.
Now I hope I can make myself the birthday's gift by getting in the final in Saas Fee and by winning it.
.If my parents drive me there at all!
