I was highly motivated as went to the Weiss see glacier in Austria, because it was the first time I could participate at a final contest. It was chilly with Fabian in the same hotel room. He could come after all, because he was invited.
We had to drive another half an hour to get up to the glacier in the morning and it took us another half an hour to get up to park. It was an incredible park but: "where's the ski lift?" Ahhh!!.. To my relief we didn't have to walk up, there were skidoos! They pulled us up to the start the whole time.
I made another 900 and really jibbed the boxes; that was it. I was qualified for the super final, which was right afterwards in the same place. The riders were really good. I was still on the 2nd place, but as I didn't stand my jump I really had to put my foot down on the boxes otherwise I wouldn't work it. I made two runs on the boxes because I didn't want to fall again; therefore I was placed 3rd just behind the second.
Proudly I fetched my skis, bindings, check (hope not the last!), cup and t-shirt. I'll remember for ages this contest, also thanks to my sponsors and my parents who support me always.
